A couple of issues heating up in Ward 2 these days.
1. Transit: According to this link, Go Transit will stop using the area at Main& Martin for their 21, and 27 buses (Milton-Toronto, and Milton-North York). Users can take Milton Transit route 2 to Milton Go Station and pick-up the route there. The changes are effective August 30, 2014. You can comment by going to the top menu labelled Customer Service, and choosing to the option to “tell us how we’re doing.”
2. Waste Transfer Station: This went to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) earlier this year and the decision went in favour of the application. The development is currently going through the approvals process with the Ministry of the Environment.
